QI's piping hot new podcast: foodie facts to fill your brain and your stomach, with QI Elves Manu Henriot and Jack Chambers and chef & food writer Rosie MacKean.

...or wherever you get your podcasts
Manu is an ex-chef and has written an ethnography on professional kitchens. Now she works for QI writing fewer ethnographies and more silly puns. Her favourite word is ‘tandsmør’, Danish for ‘tooth butter’. It’s when butter is spread thick enough to leave bite marks in.
Jack has researched and written for QI since 2018 and is an enthusiastic amateur cook, likely spending more money on cloves than clothes. His starchy carbohydrate rankings are (in order from best to worst): pasta, rice, potatoes, bread.
Rosie is an experienced chef, food writer, stylist and all-round culinary expert. Cooking everywhere from high-end restaurants to film sets, Rosie appears regularly on TV and radio, publishes a weekly Substack newsletter The Dinner Party, and has 50k followers online. Her first recipe book, Good Time Cooking, was published in 2024.
