Eagles find HD (High Definition) TV rather disappointing - explanation: Eagles have 5 times the visual acuity of humans so will need to sit 5 times further away from the TV to get the same effect - which in many homes will mean they will be in another room. Worse, they have pentachromatic colour vision rather than the human trichromatic variety so will perceive the colours as a bit wishy-washy anyway.
By 2026 the number of active e mail mailboxes will exceed the number of people on Earth ...... explanation: there are currently about 2 billion active email mailboxes in use and the number is growing at 8% per year (Source: www.radicati.com). World population is about 6.5 billion and the growth rate is about 1.14% (source: http://geography.about.com/od/populationgeography/a/populationgrow.htm).
